We are looking for General Laborers to join our Erosion Control Division.  Laborers are responsible for a variety of labor duties, basic functions include jobsite preparation for soil erosion control and prevention, general landscaping, loading and unloading of materials, tools and equipment, following instructions from supervisors, implementing construction plans, assisting skilled workers in their duties, daily jobsite clean-up and ensuring a safe work environment.  Ideal candidates will have a basic understanding of agricultural labor, but every candidate must have a willingness to learn. Daily responsibilities for a Laborer include installing silt fence, hydro-seeding, matting, tree planting, and grading. Previous farm, agriculture, and/or landscape experience preferred but not required.

These positions are Full-time. Average work week is 40 - 50 hours per week.

• Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks with hands and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
• Adhere to all safety policies and precautions; wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). 
• Ability to take guidance and direction from supervisor.

Erosion Control is a Division within Absolute Group that specializes in commercial and state erosion and soil control services. The Erosion Control Division offers a wide range of agricultural construction solutions, including seeding, sodding, mulching, silt fence installation and storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) management.
